New Year at Marina Pier
Planning New Year’s Eve celebrations is easy along Marina Pier, with multiple establishments putting their best foot forward to leave 2023 behind.
Some restaurants and bars will have ticketed events while others will allow free entry, with DJs, drink specials and fireworks to feature across the marina, and, what better way to start the New Year than by the water!
There will be fireworks put on by Holdfast Bay Council that anyone dining or drinking along the marina can enjoy, with plenty of entertainment and kid-friendly options to create fun for the whole family.
Many of the venues are offering something unique for the night, so coming to Marina Pier is a must for those wanting a fun but relaxed way to welcome 2024.
Luciano’s on the Marina will present an Amalfi Coast-inspired three-course menu and glass of Mumm sparkling on arrival to guests, creating Mediterranean feels around the marina.
With live entertainment and a family-friendly environment, spots are expected to fill quickly. Tickets are $120 per adult and $30 per child, and can be booked on their website.
Hip bar Junipers on the Marina will be serving tapas and their extensive gin selection from 5pm to midnight, with a resident DJ playing hits from across the decades.
Free entry and a ridiculous amount of drinks to choose from make this a great option for those wanting to expand their gin palette and dance away to some cool beats.
Sunset Bar will have drink specials all day, and a DJ from 8pm spinning the latest tunes. There will be express entry and door list options, which you can find out more about on their socials.
Tickets will still be available at the door, and the bar will open to 2am.
For those wanting a simple dinner to end the year, there are plenty of options stretching across the marina, such as The Wharf, Sammy’s on the Marina and Oyster Bar.
Bookings are encouraged, and essential at the likes of Tomiko for those keen to enjoy Japanese dishes with a cocktail in hand.
